For the people who have found me searching for wedding or portrait photographers please realize that I am a active photographer...meaning where I go the camera surely is as well. This enables me to broaden and demonstrate the scope of my fascination with the camera. It also enables me to do incidental portraits that are influenced by time and place. Thats the case with these photos from a recent party attended. I'm very proud of my boy. He has grown into a great young man. I'm looking forward to our summer roadtrip. ><><<<><<><><<<<><><<<><><<><><<<><>><><<><<>><><<><<><><>><><<>><><><><<><<><> This is Erin with Addie Baker. Addie is the daughter of longtime friend Sam Baker. These two have known each other since birth. How many of us have friends we've known that long? They both are going to UT in the fall. Congratulations to Erin and Addie on their recent graduation. I'll keep the baby pics with them sucking each others toes under lock and key!

She recently accompanied me to my son Erin's high school graduation. We found a spot outside for a quick photo shoot. Maddie is always game for pictures and I'm always amazed at how photogenic she is. Maddie is a very sweet girl. When I told her that I thought she was dressed pretty that night she said, "and you look very handsome".

Tyler is a fellow teacher and I have the difficult job of trying to defend him in our afternoon basketball games. I hold my own but it is a challenging job.

It's great fun to photograph events where people have a very specific interest. I went up on a stormy saturday to hang out with carriage drivers at Quietude Farm. When you have alot of very different folks with a common passion the energy is usually great. This event was no exception. I carry my camera most places I go. By habit my camera is with me at most every social event I attend. My camera is more than just a tool for enterprise and material gain. It's a great adventure to go into a random setting and interact with the situation. My busy saturday ended with the Kates' annual crawfish boil. I've gone to this party for seven years. Every year it seems rain threatens. This year it did more than play around. The adults huddled around under tents eating one of the grand delecacies of the south. The forced closeness of all the folks added to the party.
